English to Chinese: Placement of building material in Burwood Resource Recovery Park General field: Other

We were in touch in September about the final placement of sensitive building material from the 22 February 2011 Earthquake within the Burwood Resource Recovery Park.
Plans for the Park
The Park is closing its operations and will be run as part of the Bottle Lake Forest Park recreational area by 2022.
So we’re now moving the sensitive material to its final resting place in another part of the Park. We expect the relocation work to be completed by the end of this year. The area will then be grassed over and landscaped.
Landscaping
The area where the material is being placed will be landscaped to create a peaceful and respectful space, similar to the sites of the CTV and PGC buildings. Oi Manawa Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial remains the official memorial site for the city.
A draft landscaping plan is attached. The plan proposes mainly native New Zealand trees and plants, and a small group of cherry blossom trees. Some seating is proposed, and simple signage to explain the significance of the site.

Blessing
Once the landscaping has been completed, and before the site is opened to the public, a blessing service will be held to acknowledge the final resting place of the sensitive material. We expect this to be late 2021. We will be back in touch about the blessing once we have confirmed timing for this.
If Covid prevents people attending the event, we will look to provide a video of the blessing.
As the 10th anniversary of the earthquake approaches, our thoughts are with you and your families.
