Bio
I am a Hungarian-French bilingual, professionally trained translator. I have been working as a freelancer since 2008, after graduating from the joint training of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Université Marc Bloch de Strasbourg.

I specialised in film dubbing and subtitling and have been working in this field since 2008 for large companies such as SDI Media, Visual Media, Deluxe Media, Sfera, the Anilogue International Animation Festival as well as smaller companies such as Mozinet and the French Institute of Budapest. I have subtitled feature films, operas, animation movies, documentaries but also travel shows, cooking shows, home improvement shows and more technical film-related videos, such as commentaries and making ofs. I started out with material designed for DVD but have transitioned over the years to world of VOD (first iTunes and now Netflix) while maintaining a steady flow of feature films shown in cinemas. I am familiar with the challenges and expectations of this fast evolving market.

My other area of expertise is psychology and pedagogy and have translated and proof-read essays in this topic, some of which where published at the Hungarian Academy of Science's Publishing House (Akadémia Kiadó).

Finally, I have an on-going working relationship with publishing houses and have translated several books, mostly crime stories, historic and romantic novels.

I am interested in all forms of art, mostly literature, cinema, architecture and photography. I am also very fond of video games, cartoons and comics.

In my free time I enjoy travelling, reading and biking.
