Aunque "empaquetamiento" es un término muy frecuente en este contexto, creo que otras opciones adecuadas pueden ser:

...concentración y cohesión de moléculas...
...agrupamiento y cohesión de moléculas...
...acumulación y cohesión de moléculas...

Expresiones un poco menos forzadas en español. Por la búsqueda me quedaría con concentración, si bien muchos aciertos seguro tienen que ver con el concepto de concentración como medida.
