I read in another thread about match repair and that it can cause slowness in Studio 2017. I will not update my Studio for a while yet, but can someone explain what match repair should do?

An attempt at 'fixing' incomplete concordance matches
Aug 9, 2017
If you have a fuzzy concordance match, the system will try to 'fix' the match by replacing the un-matching words with words from your TMs or attached dictionaries. Sometimes, it is useful, at other times, it is close to Volapyk.
At least, that's what it looks like to me.

I believe that the slowness is particularly related to file preparation time, so one solution if this affects you is to turn off Match Repair to pre-translate files and turn it back on for the actual translation. ▲ Collapse
