Hello.

As far as I know, we need to specify our experty fields to have our names in the directory, right?
However, I have done that, but since I changed my account type to "Student", my name and rank are not appearing in the directory, or in the student's list. Am I missing something?

Hello Lucas MP; welcome to the site.

The FAQs on Student Membership say: " As a student member, you will not appear in the directory of professionals" http://www.proz.com/faq/membership/student_membership.html#will_student_membership_ help_me_to_get_clients_

However, it does seem strange that you are not in the directory of Students (unless this is under your real name perhaps?). I suggest you submit a Support Request here: http://www.proz.com/support/

Incidentally, experty should be expertise.

Only site users who have purchased student membership are listed in the students directory Oct 30

Hello Lucas,

Please note that "Student" account type profiles are not listed in the translators directory. If you wish to be listed in the translator directory, you can change your account type to "Freelancer" here: http://www.proz.com/settings/freelancer .

You cannot find yourself in the students directory because only site users who have purchased student membership are listed in the students directory, http://www.proz.com/?sp=sd .
